Although genetic factors are the leading factors that shapes our body. There are many other factors affecting body shape. For example, exercise, sports affect is already known. However, the furniture we use also affect the shape of body by blocking circulation on certain muscle/fat tissue of body. Short legs will be shaped differently from long legs by sitting on the same chair. Hard chairs will block circulation more, soft cushion is better to sit on. Or the height of computer table will change body shape in general badly. If we wear wrong shoes, the legs will deform as X or O shaped legs. Because wrong shoes will force knee connective tissue improperly.
The model of shoes will change not only the shape of foot, but also the shape of legs, some body muscles. Recently released some shoes targets to shape upper legs, lower body. I tried these shoes and recommend them specially to those who has narrow pelvis. These new released shoes have a narrow sole platform, good for narrow pelvis.
Sole platform is thinner under fingers and at heel to ease foot flexibility, bending, movement. Good for walking.
Thick, high platform will seperate foot from bad floor well. Myself, I am good balanced to walk on high platforms as this new walking shoes model. Only when I run I prefer flat shoes, running shoes are very different from walking shoes.
