sichuan 2008 Earthquake

7.9 Magnitude Monday, May 12 2008 Earthquake: http://www.emsc-csem.org/Earthquake/Map/gmap_kml.php?kml=/Earthquake/kml.php?filter%3Dyes%26start_date%3D2008-05-11%26end_date%3D2008-05-12%26min_intens%3D0%26max_intens%3D8

How was the seismic activity of entire Earth on that day?

Many times I find hardly any chemistry study documenting the soil chemistry on Earth when My project aim is to draw a map proving that there is a relationship between the soil elements, soil Physics and Chemistry and quakes. It is expensive to devote big money to search entire Earth soil chemistry.
different way is to learn the plants, that some plants grow in certain chemistry for example eggplant will grow in alkaline soil, or green tea will grow at high rained areas. If one tells me the plants I get an idea on soil chemistry, physics.
I know the city I born(an Eastern Europe country) is by the sea, has frequent small floods, high rains, no frequent earthquakes, near mountain, high Copper export, high green tea plant(small leafed) export; the question is which cities might have similarities in a far country in China or India has high green-tea-black-tea source. http://www.made-in-china.com/products-search/find-china-products/0b0nolimit/Tea-2.html special wrinkless black tea in sichuan versus other places
